Quality American Made Furniture For Generations.

The furniture we carry at Patterson Furniture resembles our ideals of long lasting durability and quality. We first opened in 1960 when Virgil Patterson, his wife Rosalie, and their daughter Patricia Sealy put everything on the line to pursue their own furniture company. With their experience in furniture sales, they began to focus on solid wood furnishings that not only represented the best in American made products, but also lasted an exceptionally longtime.

In 1963, Patricia’s determination to sell fine American made products led us to expand our product line to include only the furniture brands recognized for quality and longevity. We hand selected furniture in a variety of styles that met our rigorous standard for design, durability and solid construction.

x Business flourished from then and a few years later Patricia’s husband, Fred came into the business. Together we worked diligently to become a well-known purveyor of quality furniture in the Atlanta area.

At a time when other furniture companies trended towards importing products from overseas, we have remained loyal to the brands made in the USA. To this day, we still specialize in carrying only high quality American made furnishings. That dedication to durability, quality, and value led to another two generations of family owned business.
Cliff and Warren, Virgil’s grandsons, now own and operate Patterson Furniture in Atlanta. With the help of dedicated and knowledgeable employees, we welcome the opportunity to provide your home with our tradition of long lasting, American made quality, for generation after generation.
