Kitchen Furniture: Furnishing a Kitchen How You Want It

There are many different types of kitchen furniture available, and there is no reason why furnishing a kitchen just as you want it should be difficult. One reason for some people finding it difficult is ignorance of the range of kitchen furniture available today. They may visit a showroom and get the impression that what is on display is all that is available. Not so!

Kitchen Furniture - What is Available?

In order to establish the full range of possibilities, you should first visit a furniture website. Patterson Furniture sells products manufactured by a wide range of American furniture manufacturers, and we could not possibly show the whole range in our Roswell and Lilburn showrooms.

That is one reason for us having a website. The Patterson Furniture website does not offer details on the standard products we sell per se, but provides you with links to each of the American furniture manufacturers that we represent. We are dealers for a range of different furniture companies, and you can link to their websites from the scrollable navigation bar below the main image on our site.

Whether it is kitchen furniture you are seeking or bedroom furniture, you should first check out the manufacturers' websites and check out what each has to offer.  Not everyone will manufacture kitchen furniture however. Visit Stickley (kitchen islands), Valley View, Jasper Cabinet, The Custom Shoppe and Simply Amish for kitchen furniture of various kinds. Others sell dining room furniture that would also look good in a large kitchen.

Make Your List

Check each of the websites offered by Patterson, and make a list of the kitchen furniture that interests you. If you don't see anything suitable for your kitchen, then The Custom Shoppe can modify its own designs to meet your needs. If really necessary, they will get together with you to design furniture specifically for you.

The Custom shoppe can also manufacture pieces to your own design or drawings, so don't be afraid to call them if you can't find anything to suit you. Don't just 'make do,' because you will be living with this or a long time to come.

Visit Our Atlanta Furniture Showrooms

Once you have your list, it is then time to visit our showrooms in Lilburn and Roswell in Atlanta. Never purchase furniture from a website, even if you can. None of the manufacturer's we deal with enables you to do this, but even if you could it is always best to view the furniture first.

Our two showrooms do not display exactly the same pieces, so if you can't find what you want in one, visit the other. Alternatively, call us in advance and we will be able to inform you whether or not we have your choices in stock.  We don’t have the space to stock every item offered by all the companies we represent. If we do have it in stock then you will be able to view it and even try it out. If we don't, then we can order it for you.

Furnishing a Kitchen

It is important that you have a good choice of items when furnishing a kitchen. Whether you re looking for a breakfast bar, kitchen islands you can sit at with bar stools, kitchen chairs or regular rustic kitchen tables, you should have a few options to choose from.

Between them, the American furniture manufacturers that Patterson Furniture deals with are able to offer a wide choice of kitchen islands, kitchen tables and chairs, and also bar stools and swivel chairs. You are almost certain to find something to meet your needs on our website. So go the Home Page and check out the various American Furniture manufacturers you find on our scrollable bar. Just click the arrows either side to find the full list.
